A neural network can be trained to learn the non-linear relationship
between phase current, rotor position and electromagnetic torque of a SR motor.
After the training process is accomplished and the neural network has successfully
learned the relationship, the neural network can be used as a model of the SR
motor in order to produce the optimum phase current that minimises torque ripple.
